The Extreme Networks 25GBASE-SR (Lite FEC) SFP28 transceiver delivers high-speed 25G Ethernet connectivity over multimode fiber (MMF). Utilizing an 850nm VCSEL transmitter and PIN photodiode receiver, it supports data rates up to 25.78125Gbps.

With Lite Forward Error Correction (FEC), the module enhances data integrity and transmission reliability. It offers a maximum reach of 100 meters on OM4 fiber and 70 meters on OM3 fiber. The transceiver features Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for real-time performance tracking and consumes less than 1W of power.

Compliant with IEEE 802.3by standards, it operates within a commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. The 25GBASE-SR (Lite FEC) transceiver is ideal for data centers and enterprise networks requiring efficient and reliable short-range 25G connectivity.
