Extreme Networks 100G-LR4-QSFP2KM is a QSFP optical transceiver module designed to support 100 Gigabit Ethernet transmission over single-mode fiber optic cables for distances up to 2 kilometers. Utilizing LAN-WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology, it transmits data across four 25 Gbps lanes, aggregating to a 100GbE link.
Compliant with IEEE 802.3ba and 802.3bm standards, the LR4 transceiver is ideal for data center interconnects, metro networks, and enterprise backbone applications. Its QSFP form factor enables high port density and easy integration into existing network infrastructure.
With digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM), the module provides real-time feedback on key parameters including temperature, voltage, and optical power.
