The HCU-2000 serves as the central controller in Honeywell’s Intevio Public Address and Voice Alarm (PAVA) system. Designed for single-building applications, it integrates multiple critical functions including audio storage, signal processing, zone control, routing, scheduled broadcasts, supervision, and fault detection.
Equipped with a built-in 500W Class-D amplifier, the HCU-2000 supports 8 speaker zones, providing a cost-effective solution without compromising on performance. Its intuitive front panel features an LCD screen that guides users through operations, enhancing user experience and reducing training time.
The system boasts automatic fault diagnosis, continuously monitoring main power, backup power, CPU, microphone, amplifiers, speaker circuits, and dry contacts. In the event of a CPU failure, the system allows for all-call paging using the PTT microphone or call stations, ensuring uninterrupted emergency communication.
Additional features include a built-in timer for scheduled broadcasts, 1GB memory for recording temporary messages, and a cost-saving amplifier backup solution that requires only one standby amplifier for the entire system.
Compliant with international standards, the HCU-2000 offers a modular architecture expandable up to 128 speaker lines, making it a versatile and reliable choice for various applications
